International LED Summit Gathers Lighting Gurus from Around The World @ LED Expo Thailand 2017

ASEAN’S Largest International Exhibition on LED Lighting Products & Technology to attract high-powered keynotes serving stimulating discussions

MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. & IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. together with International Advisory Committee of CLDA have come up with International LED Summit to bring forward the best practices in LED arena worldwide. The Summit, one of the highlights of the LED Expo Thailand 2017, on LED Lighting & Energy Saving will be steered by the committee of experts to present high-powered keynotes and stimulating discussions in an open environment. Invited speakers will highlight and demonstrate the trend of LED lighting & energy saving technology, government policy and benefits of using for better consumer understanding.

LED Expo Thailand is one of the leading LED lighting events in Southeast Asia and ASEAN’s largest international exhibition on LED lighting products & technology. It is dedicated to the science, technology and application of LEDs and solid-state lighting. Organized by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. & MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. and supported by the Federation of Thai Industries, the Show is an important initiative towards energy conservation and a green environment by host organizations – Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and Ministry Of Energy, where International LED Summit and localised free seminars are the other important events held concurrent to the show.

Enhancing impetus are the seminars on LED Market from industry experts. These seminars are aimed at furthering basics and applications of visible light communications, international compliance for lighting, and LED energy policy in Bangkok and its vicinity. Additionally, LED investment support policy for government and private sectors in Thailand, energy–efficient LED lighting design, LED lighting technology for factories, vision from LED manufacturers & distributors, LED and Thai hotel industry, the durable span of LED lighting, communication protocol smart lighting, cloud technology, etc. will be part of the seminars. Besides, the interaction and integration of interior lighting concept with space design will also be covered.

Keeping in view the potential and vibrancy of the fast growing market, the international summit will present the case studies, practical design issues and views on trends, innovations, and technological advancements in both interior and exterior spaces. Individual speakers and panel discussions will tackle the influence and issues that designers, owners and operators face in implementing LED technology as well as the opportunities that LED provides us today.

These apart, contemporary issues such as smart lighting and IoT will be discussed. Compliance with new regulations, codes of practice, as well as environmental and wellness issues will be in the limelight. Eminent speakers such as Dr. Amardeep M. Dugar (New Delhi, India), Laura Bernadet (Jönköping, Sweden), Dr. Karolina M. Zielinska-Dabkowska (Wismar, Germany), Yoke Yuin Cheong (Penang, Malaysia), Dr. Acharawan Chutarat (Bangkok, Thailand), Lear Hsieh President CLDA (Taiwan), Philip Raphael (Berlin, Germany), Prof. Warren Julian (Sydney, Australia) will address on specific issues focusing on Urban Redevelopment, Multi-Media Building Facades, Hospitality and Commercial & Retail.

In addition, Light Talk will be there as one-on-one confidential consultation with a lighting design professional for a limited time of up to 20 minutes. Internationally experienced Lighting Designers are rostered to be on-hand to provide guidance to registered participants on a particular subject, such as a current or proposed future project, discuss and answer questions, and/or offer strategic advice on a way forward.

Presentations will be of interest to the delegates such as architects, interior designers, urban planners, engineers, hotel operators, retail store owners/managers, property developers and owners, real estate agents, government/regulatory authority personnel.
